Carr Central School, 1924, was Vicksburg's largest school at that time.  Although
exposed to the elements without a roof, the structural concrete and masonry
structure has endured the test of time.

Today, Carr Central, a rehab project of Brownstone Development, Houston, Texas, is
resurrected as a 36-unit apartment units.  This 66,000 SF facility is Vicksburg's largest
historic preservation project.  Doug Lum worked in design team with architect owner,
William Brown.
